lately...

so prom party did not end up happening- for me at least. my bros told me i was a bit creepy for going and i listened to them. whatever. so by memorial day, i was ITCHING to party. I asked my mother to play beer pong with me, but she declined. my friend adair said that one of her friends was having a party, so of course i went. IT WAS NOT A PARTY. it was 6 people, already pretty drunk talking about knives and their trucks. i wish i was kidding. so i chugged some vodka mimosas and then we headed up to chilis- you know how i love that continuous happy hour.

5 (delicious mango) margaritas later...

back at the non party house where i just remembered i swiped a fantastic jaeger shot class. it was stainless steel and had a deer head on it! where did that thing go? anyways, i made my other megans little bro pick up me and we proceeded to hit the bars. at 11pm. highlights include:
chugging redbull vodka, long islands and hurricanes
dance off with a black man
puke n rally after my dance off
lemon drops at the gay bar
chugging a pitcher with gay men
and having two dolla dolla bills stuffed down my dress by a deaf gay man

^^^^^my my what a wicked hangover i had^^^^^^

the week went by a bit slower but on friday night laced chaps was in town so we (chaps vegas and i) decided to go grape stomping at a local wine bar- fun, but it was in a small room with a large window, so i just felt like a monkey at a zoo. this bar was sweet though, on top of grape stomping they had a ton of board games! jenga, scrabble, connect four, twister. i was trying to push for twister in the grape buckets, but no one would have it. i'll be sure to let you know when it does. later at the bar, we were about to leave when this homeboy comes up and starts rambling about the bald bartender being married. (insert confused looks here) guy is all up in our faces, one of the most extreme cases of a close talker i have ever encountered. when i couldnt bite my tongue any longer, i asked him "are you a big fan of seinfeld"?

HE JUMPED BACK, so excited and exclaimed "YES! I LOVE THAT SHOW!"

me- "great. so you know what it means when i tell you you're a close talker" he was a bit discouraged, but not enough to stop getting up in my face. or chaps.

last night, i went from zero to WHATS UP real quick. i left laced chaps for a half hour and in that time vegas took me to a random party where i was chugging my concoction of delicious angies sweet tea and fire fly. then i met Chong! guess what happened. so then ryan decided to go to the beach bars to watch the bball game, but i had a ladies drink free night to go to. so i stumbled down the street, yuengling and sweet tea in hand, where laced chaps picked me up on the side of the road.

drink free was rough- in many senses of the word. i think almost every girl there was expecting to find a husband, hence everyone was dressed to the nines, except chaps and i. let me give you a visual. not only was i wearing the same dress from the night before, but i was also wearing my swimsuit and still had sand and shells stuck to my legs. chaps, while cleaner, was wearing her swimsuit. anyways, adair and friends met up with us and for two hours i drank my hearts content of bourbon and diets and gin and tonics. yummm

then, we went back to chilis where i had more G&Ts and then we headed out to the jb bars. as we were walking along, i happened to run into a a friend. she was with her bf and these guys, who i had happened to see at the beach earlier. and my oh my was one of them soooo hottttt. so being friendly, i introduced myself. and the hot one replied "hi, i'm yours". omgggggg well at this point i was drunk and very excited and incredulous that this guy said this to me, so of course i started giggling. and then i snorted. twice. friends bf promptly reacted "well thats a deal breaker". GREAT. but i just kept giggling and introducing myself. and i had to make it up to the hotness so i asked him if he wanted to hear my pigeon coo. he did. and he did back. im so in love.

so then i left and went to the same bar i was in the night before, in the same outfit. i chugged a red bull vodka. thats pretty much the highlight.

im not sorry i like to party, i only wish it would happen more.

i miss crew, i miss college.

OH GOOD NEWS! vegas has a beer bong- life just got a little bit brighter.

One for the money, two for the show. Hit the Louie store right on Rodeo.

I have given up EVERYTHING fun for the sake of future employment. fml.

That being said, I have had some fun since I've been home. Maine was glorious. It was soo nice to see my east coast crew! Everyone basically showed up, sans my cousins and Deano.

California was amazing. My dad and I went to his friend's wedding and it was hilarious. His friend Bill was one of my dad's groomsmen and he finally got married to this asian chick straight from China. Half the people at the wedding didn't even speak English!!! I also met the most amazing person ever, Jonathan. This guy used to work with my dad way back when in NYC. Jonathan is a marketing prof at Manhattan College (Catholic school), he's a doctor, he's Jewish, he's gay, he has HIV, he loves to toke, the only man he ever loved was murdered in a hate crime and HE was called in as the main suspect (so fucked up), and to top it all off, he's the funniest person I have ever met. He's lived through so much and I thoroughly enjoyed every second I spent with him.

My dad was only in LA with me for 2 days, then he left me on my own. I scoped out almost everything including: Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Manhattan Beach, Long Beach, Pasadena, Bev Hills, Bel Air, Encino Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, and mostly everything in between. I fucking LOVED LA and can't wait until it is my home. I spent memorial day with the Bautistas at Universal Studios and we had an absolute blast. I love that family.

Other fun things that happened included saying "Whats up Ari!" to Jeremy Piven and telling Brooke Hogan to "Get it girl!"

I'll be back in LA in a few short weeks where I will hopefully get employed and then promptly party.

Until then......

to party or not to party?

Meggles spilled the beans about the blog to my father...have you found it yet Ted?

tonight is Prom, an actual PROM '09!!, and i have been invited to a post party. thus poses the question- to party or not to party?

my bros said i would be some old creeper if i went (who are younger than me), but i am curious.. would i be creepy or cool? probably a bit of both. vegas said he would hit it up with me, but we'll see what really happens.

I went to Chilis last night to drink with Adair..its always 2 4 1. Isnt that fabulous?

uggghhhhhh i miss my crew. who am i supposed to party with???

i guess i'll go find annie, she loves to take shots

Fin.

I can't believe college is over. I'm writing this from home, half-crying, half-laughing. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life and its a horrible feeling. I know I'll be in California, but that's it. Whatever, time to reflect:

I have no idea what we did on Wednesday. I know we did something but my memory is shot. I know I accumulated 27 missed calls from some kid I met on Monday, but thats it.

Thursday was the monumental Last Fever. Fever itself was the best it ever was. Everyone that mattered to me showed up, minus JC. There were bottles of this strawberry champagne stuff which was awesome. Around 2:30 or so these balloons and random stuff fell from the ceiling. It felt like New Years in Compton. I say this because it felt like I was getting shot. Brauch got knocked over but she took her floor time to nab a bunch of random free stuff. We gave it all to the stoop later. Post-fever was bullshit and I don't want to talk about it. It involved an unnecessary amount tears and a bad end to a good friendship.

Friday started horribly as I did not sleep the night before and had to deal with my family. I was a bit of a mess but I eventually rallied. Friday also made me realize how amazing my true friends are and how lucky I am to have them in my life. The crew went out to a huge dinner with all of our families which was really fun. Then we went back to the Compound to rage a bit with parents and what not. Even Jonah and his brother showed up! After all the families left, the Crew had a huge drunken chat, bitched about people and thus confirmed that we fucking rock.

Saturday was graduation. As planned, a few of us kept the pact and graduated naked under our gowns. That was refreshing. Our ceremony was actually pretty fun. It's so weird to think that I will not see the majority of those people ever again.

After grad, we had a huge "reception" at the compound. There's nothing I adore more than day-partying, especially with family in tow. My parents had never seen my apartment and they were pretty unimpressed with how disgusting it was. "Dad, that's a vase, I swear!"-"Yeah right Meaghan." Whatever. Well everyone got pretty smashed then went to dinner. Then reconvened at the compound for more raging. I had NEVER been to the Backer and I was totally down to go. A group of us walked over, got discouraged by the line as well as the lack of attractive people in the line and hopped in a cab to Finny's. I can still say that I have never been to the Backer. I'm really not that upset about it. Finny's was pretty fun, especially for Brauch who was seen making out with Scott's 32 year old brother all over the place. And I saw John and friend. We had a little post finny's sesh with awesome people and then called it a night.

I had to wake up insanely early on Sunday to go to breakfast with my fam and then came home and prompty puffed and crashed. I woke up and decided to creep around ND and scope the grad scene. I snuck into places that were roped off, got yelled at by the cops and took a bunch of pictures of the douchey protesters. Then I went to Legends by myself to watch the speeches and drink beers. I made some friends and it was pretty fun. Sunday night involved crew beerpong and a rather fun round of never have I ever.

Monday was brutal. Everyone fucking left and it was so sad. Brauch and I were the lone crew members in the bend. After packing forever, Brauchness and I were ready to party. She had a flight at 6 am Tuesday and I had to drive 14 hours home to Boston. Our intention was to go to our friends house, BBQ, drink a little, say goodbye and go to bed early. Yeah that didn't happen. Everyone at Brits house was awesome. I met the funniest kid ever named David. He went to IU which made perfect sense since he was actually normal, unlike the majority of Notre Dame dudes. Jonah and Molly showed up... JC, Ryan and Erin showed up... all in all it was rowdy. Around 4:20, Brauch, Brit, David and I went to Clover to help Brauch finish packing because she is ridiculous. Well David and I didn't really help.. sorry Brauchy. We left clover and took Brauchness to the airport. I was so fucking cold because I only had a dress on. It's a good thing I left my grad gown in my car because I wore it for warmth. After we parted ways with Brauch, Brit, David and I went back to brits. Everyone was passed out. David and I tried to sleep, but didn't. Finally I decided to leave. I went back to TC, packed up my car, popped some adderall, pounded a monster and hit the road by 8. At least I was sober by this point. I cruised out east completely cracked out and made it home in 13 hours flat. WHAT? When I got home I was shaking from sleep deprivation and passed out. And here I am, crewless and depressed with an unsure future and a million and a half memories from the best time of my life.

Tomorrow I'm going to make a cameo in Maine to party with my east coast crew and drown out my sorrows.

Adios

cinco de drunko

As far as college goes, Curls is done, McCrazy is done, and the rest of us are on the cusp.

As senior week approaches, the crew has decided to end our careers with a bang, in the form of a game. Its distract and attract at its finest. That's all I have to say about that since it is embarrassing and fun all wrapped into one. Is it just me or do I keep rhyming? I don't know, I'm still kinda drunk, you decide.

After a hellish day doing some projects that I had all semester to complete, getting in an argument with Brauch, and being in an all-around bad mood, I decided to party a bit. I marched home from school and promptly opened a delicious Natty sometime in the 8's. The rest is up to interpretation. The semi-crew showed up at a THRIVING Corby's. When I saw it was so packed I thought to myself, "yes, this is going to be good." Its a good thing I recognized about 8 people there, other than the crew. Seriously, it was randoms out of the woodworks. I did see John and Friend though, count it!

The fun thing about last night was that I had a final this morning at 8 am. And not just any final, it was the last test I will EVER take in my life, save for a pregnancy test or four. I'm quite proud of myself for binge drinking instead of studying. When the test got dished out this morning I took one look and started giggling. I was also the first one done. I vaguely remember ending my last essay question with the sentence, "Get it!" My teacher hates me.

Today I have to give a presentation in front of clients, a health care center and a rival PR firm. Don't I sound prestigious! (If only they knew...)

Until tonight, Meggles

I'm in love, I'm in love and I don't care who knows it

Well, yesterday was a doozy.

We day drank, of course. Decided to have a party, of course.

I'm trying to watch the K-Tuck Derby right now. If Desert Party wins, I'm going to have a Desert Party tonight. I know a great sand guy.

Note-ables from yesterday:
-bucket punishment
-grossest randoms in the world
-duel birthday rage
-I saw JOHN AND FRIEND at Blarney
-I got engaged.
-Alex and JC rapping FOR SEVEN HOURS STRAIGHT in my room
-second stoop sunrise in 2 days
-fun
-hot-boxing my room
-"roommates"
-friendship

there's other stuff that was great but I totally don't remember.

Crew had a fabulous time on the stoop today. So sunny and so many Curls.

Get crunk and not punked, Meggles

Vince SUCKS

Yesterday was great.

Started off on a rough note with no phone, no dignity-etc. I also managed to go to work and art class which were equally brutal.

Mid-afternoon I had to make some phone calls so I used some random phones, hung out with the neighbors and played with Mary Kate. Then MK and I went to Jonah's and it was lovely. We nommed, drank a bunch of beers, played on the computer, rocked out, experienced the Cute Kyle experience (he's just so cute), watched hoops and etc. Jonah also gave me a phone :)

Then it was time to celebrate the birth of Calitin and there was only ONE place to do that... Fever.

LAST NIGHT WAS THE BEST FEVER OF MY ENTIRE LIFE THUS FAR

good things that happened:
-dance circle on the stage with friends and randoms
-sweating
-I vaguely remember catching Curls groovin' with a brotha, (get it guuurl)
-Fever Chant

Then it was time to after party. The neighbors were down to rage, (of course) so we did just that. Jay and Ryan popped up from no where. JC couldn't even stand and he knocked over just about everything in my room. That was great. I also decided that there is no one in South Bend that I dislike more than Vince. That guy SUCKS.

Studebagels opened at 6 and we were pretty hungry by that point and decided to go. That was a mess. We discussed all of the cartoons on the walls for roughly 7 minutes. (dey knew.)

Then it was time to watch the sunrise from the stoop.

all in all, it was saucy and fun.

meet me on the stoop, Meggles
